With more than a decade's experience in construction industry marketing, Karen currently leads UK marketing and communications activities for building products' manufacturer James Hardie. Prior to this, she has spent time working for a development charity in West Africa, as well as being Marketing Manager at Arup.
Chartered in 2006, Karen has previously been a fellow of the CIM, as well as holding a board position with CIMCIG, specialist interest construction group. She has also been a lecturer and tutor for Cambridge Marketing College.
